The apartment is located in main pedestrian Váci Street, view on the street from windows, ground floor. Building is cultural monument, was property of Serbian Orthodox church, in court is park and Serbian Orthodox church from 17th century.
The Serbian Church (Szerb Templom) in Pest dates back to the year 1698 when there was a large serbian colony in Budapest, a moment when Europe was ravaged by the Turkish invasions. The church was built by Andreas Mayerhofer and has a beautiful Ikonostase by Károly Sterios. The church and the small park around it is somehow like a quiet, small island between huge houses in that area. You may enter the park and see cyrillic inscriptions at the cemetery. The decorative portal to the church garden opens from Szerb utca. The layout is single-aisled Orthodox, the iconostas is neo-Renaissance. Remarkable are the goldsmith's articles, Greek and Russian icons, textiles and ecclesiastic books kept in the church.
The historical building of the Hungarian National Museum and famous central market are in a walking distance. We can highly recommend you the drive with the tram # 2. It takes you along the Pest side of the Danube offering you fantastic view of the most attractive buildings and bridges in Buda and Pest. The entire area is full with small cafes, restaurants and tourist and souvenir shops.

The apartment is on the ground floor of the building. It is about 43 sqm in size with 1 room, hall, kitchen and bathroom. Room has one double bed and one double convertible sofa. One single bed more can be added.
Kitchen is equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, and self catering. Bathroom has bathing tub with shower, sink and washing machine. Apartment has TV set with cable TV channels. There is also computer with wireless internet connection. Maximum for 5 people.
Towels, blankets and sheets are provided. At check-in you can obtain information where to buy tickets for public transportation. Free printed city maps, and other tourist brochures are available upon your arrival.
